Teaching Statistics

The Teaching Statistics Section was established in 2022 following a successful three-year run as a special interest group. The Section provides a platform to collate and disseminate ideas and best practice in the teaching of statistics.

The section will mainly target statistics educators, which includes those working in post-18 education, including higher education and professional training. They will promote teaching excellence in statistics to increase statistical literacy among students, as student involvement in the section will be necessary and beneficial in achieving the goals of the section.
