We work hard to ensure that the profession of statistics is valued in the wider world and support members along a defined professional pathway from university to professional practice. We do this by accrediting university courses, offering continuing professional development (CPD) and recognising achievement through professional accreditation.

With Standards set by the Alliance for Data Science Professionals, of which the RSS is a founding member, members can apply to hold the Advanced Data Science Professional Certificate, recognising their achievements within data science.
