Home learning resources for RSS e-Teachers

The RSS has just added links to two new resources for school teachers of maths and statistics on its dedicated page.

The page now links to the STEM Learning home teaching materials, developed to support teachers and parents educating young people while they are at home.

Also added is a link to the RSS page of ‘I'm a Mathematician Stay at Home’, an online STEM initiative enabling school students to engage with mathematicians, teachers and each other.

The page also links to the Maths teacher training scholarship programme, which the RSS has supported for many years, and our Hands-on Statistics materials.

The Society currently offers free e-Teacher membership to primary and secondary school teachers around the world. e-Teacher members receive a termly teaching-focused e-newsletter and can join events organised by the Society’s Teaching Statistics special interest group, to discuss and disseminate ideas regarding best practice in teaching statistics.
