We invite fellows and all those with an interest in our work to the Society’s Statistical Excellence Awards ceremony and summer reception.
This event will be an excellent opportunity for the statistical community to come together, to celebrate all the fantastic work that has been done with statistics and data over the past year. The awards to be presented are:
The Campion Award for Excellence in Official Statistics
, in partnership with the UK Statistics Authority & Civil Service World
The Award for Statistical Excellence in Early Career Writing
, organised by Significance magazine and the RSS Young Statisticians Section
The Florence Nightingale Award for Excellence in Health and Care Analytics
, supported by the Health Foundation
Awards for Statistical Excellence in Journalism
, sponsored by the Economic & Social Research Council
The Award for Statistical Excellence in Trustworthiness, Quality & Value
, in partnership with the Office for Statistics Regulation & Civil Service World
The ceremony will last around an hour with a drinks and canapé reception to follow. Welcome drinks will be available from 6pm.
