We are pleased to have launched the eighth round of the Mardia Prize, which funds events or workshops with an interdisciplinary focus. Designed to bring statisticians together with other scientific communities, the events funded maintain a sustained focus and foster genuine interaction between communities.
Founded by RSS fellow Kanti Mardia, the prize aims to encourage cutting-edge interdisciplinary work in emerging areas, with applications especially welcomed from early-career researchers, although those with more experience and wider contacts are also able to apply.
Proposed workshops will run over a two-year period starting during 2025, with available of funding of £3,000–£4,000 per year. Although this generally covers one workshop per year, more extensive workshop plans that use other funding as leverage will also be considered.
For more information, visit the
