The continued importance of AI algorithms in shaping consumer choice continues to be felt across e-commerce and financial platforms, from shaping the way we buy music to choose complex savings products. This session explores the ethical and governance issues relating to those algorithms, presenting perspectives of both academic researchers and UK regulators. The session price includes four talks, and lunch to be served as part of the session. It should be of broad interest to statisticians, data scientists, policy wonks, and all concerned human beings on the internet.

Lunch will be available at the start of the event.

Location: 12 Errol St, London EC1Y 8LX.
