In this session, we will cover how to find and apply for trustee roles in the charity sector.
  • What it means to be an effective trustee
  • Using data within the context of a charity board
  • Expert panel discussion
There are an estimated 100,000 trustee vacancies in the UK. Trustees are volunteers who lead a charity and make sure it achieves the aims it was set up to do. They can be at any level of seniority in their day job, age, professional background and skill set.

The webinar will be led by Getting on Board, a national trustee recruitment charity, in collaboration with Reach Volunteering. This is a two-part webinar for RSS fellows who want to learn more about becoming a trustee. It is open to fellows at any stage in their career, whether early career or retired.

Once you have registered, why not book a place on the first session where we explore why statisticians should join charity trustee boards.
