In this session, we will cover how to find and apply for trustee roles in the charity sector:

•    Finding the right fit
•    What you can bring to the role
•    How to find a role (incl. Reach Volunteering)
•    How to apply for a trustee role (incl. Reach Volunteering)

There are an estimated 100,000 trustee vacancies in the UK. Trustees are volunteers who lead a charity and make sure it achieves the aims it was set up to do. They can be at any level of seniority in their day job, age, professional background and skill set.

The webinar will be led by Getting on Board, a national trustee recruitment charity, in collaboration with Reach Volunteering. This is a two-part webinar for RSS fellows who want to learn more about becoming a trustee. It is open to fellows at any stage in their career, whether early career or retired.

Once you have registered, why not book a place on the first session  where we explore why statisticians should join charity trustee boards.

This event will be hosted live on Zoom. Joining instructions will be sent to those registered nearer the time.
