RSS launches training programme for 2025

We have launched our public course programme for 2025 for all those looking to improve their data and statistical skills.

The public programme offers over 30 courses on statistics and data science, all delivered either online through a virtual classroom or face-to-face in a London venue. There are courses for all levels, from those looking for introductory courses on topics such as survey research design, basic statistics and presenting data to more advanced training on subjects such as working with R and Python, and statistical theory.

We have added two new professional level courses to the programme, Generalised Additive Models with R and Advanced Spatial Analysis with R, delivered by Dr Sophie Lee.

All of the courses count towards CPD and many of them have been awarded the Society’s Quality Mark. This means that you can use completing the course as part of your application for the Society’s Data Analyst qualification. There are generous discounts for fellows, GradStats, CStats, registered Data Analysts and MIS/FIS members.

As always, we would welcome suggestions for new courses and would like to hear from experienced tutors interested in delivering training for us. You can contact us at training@rss.org.uk.
