The annual general meeting (AGM) of the
West Midlands Local Group will be held during an event to celebrate the
75th Anniversary of the West Midlands Local Group. The event will take place at 5pm on Thursday 9 December at the University of Warwick (Zeeman Building in Room MS.05).
In accordance with the regulations of Local Groups, the following candidates are nominated by the local group committee as members for the 2022 session:

Zeeshan Ali (co-opted)
Jeremie Houssineau (co-opted)
There are
vacancies on the 2022 committee which anyone who is interested in getting involved in the local group can contact
Kristian Romano by Monday 29 November 2021. To express interest, send us a paragraph (up to 200 words) summarising your background, why you would like to join, and what you will contribute to the committee. Please note that you must be a fellow of the RSS to serve on the committee.
Unless alternative nominations are received before 29 November, these persons will be declared elected at the annual general meeting.
