The Society has announced that the RSS 2022 International Conference will take place in Aberdeen in the north east of Scotland from 12-15 September 2022.
This will be the first time that the city has hosted the conference and marks a return to Scotland for the first time since Glasgow hosted the highly successful RSS 2017 Conference.
David McLernon, Secretary of the RSS Highlands Local Group, responded to the announcement, 'We’re "fair-tricket"* to welcome the RSS Conference to "The Granite City" in 2022.
'This is fantastic news for the very active community of statisticians up here in the north east of Scotland. The conference will be held at the brand-new state-of-the-art P&J Live venue. We look forward to welcoming all quines and loons to Aberdeen and the beautiful countryside surrounding it!'
