This workshop is jointly hosted by Northumbria University, The Alan Turing Institute, and the Royal Statistical Society’s Data Ethics and Governance Section.

The aim of the event is to focus on exploring the benefits and challenges of police data ethics committees and their effect on validity, legitimacy, and effectiveness of data-driven technologies in policing.
