The Royal Statistical Society is hosting a virtual meetup for Statisticians for Society volunteers, hosted by Rob Mastrodomenico, chair of Statisticians for Society.

The aim of this event is to bring together past and current volunteers to share experiences, learnings and good practices. The session is a chance to connect with other volunteers who have carried out or in the process of delivering individual projects for charitable organisations.

There will be short presentations from volunteers about their completed projects along with opportunities for questions, and themed rapid-fire talks to encourage discussions about the many facets of projects.

If you are a fellow of the RSS interested in volunteering for Statisticians for Society, this is a chance to learn more about our projects and support available for volunteers.

This event will be hosted live on Microsoft Teams, but registration is required. Joining instructions will be sent to registered delegates nearer the time.
