DataFest 2021 looking for consultants

ASA DataFest is a weekend-long undergraduate data analysis competition (26-28 March 2021) where teams of two to five undergraduates work to reveal insights into a rich, complex, and surprise dataset. The University of Edinburgh School of Maths is hosting an ASA DataFest event this year for the second time, sponsored by the Royal Statistical Society, and we hope you'll be a part of it by signing up as a consultant.

This is a competition, but a friendly one. All postgraduate students, university staff, and data analysts/scientists are invited to participate in ASA DataFest as consultants. This role entails helping students think through their projects and mostly serving as a sounding board for their ideas. A nice side-effect of this interaction tends to be an opportunity for students to find out more about what you do day-to-day and get a sense of the wide array of opportunities open to them. The minimum time commitment is only two hours, and you can do it from the comfort of your own home.
