We are looking for an experienced statistician to act as an external examiner for about 12 essays (30-40 pages each) on statistics projects carried out by students from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Limbe, Cameroon.
The examiner will be expected to:
- Travel to AIMS Cameroon in Limbe for the duration of 1 week to carry out the oral examination of the candidates.
- To submit short reports on the assessment of the theses by May 31 (essays will be received on May 15).
Travel, accommodation, the mandatory yellow fever vaccination and visa will be covered by AIMS Cameroon. The examiner will receive a payment of 35.000 XAF (53 Euros) for each examined essay.
