The RSS has updated its standards for GradStat to reflect modern changes within the teaching of statistics.
The new standards aim to recognise graduates who have gained good statistical knowledge through a wider range of disciplines that teach good statistical practice.
John MacInnes, RSS vice president for professional affairs, said: ‘In a world where statistics and data science are constantly innovating and changing, professional standards and training are more important than ever. The RSS has made some fundamental changes to the way in accredits statistics education and training and recognises professional achievement in order to promote the highest standards in the effective and ethical use of data.’
The new standards can be found on the GradStat page.
