The Constructing a Digital Environment Strategic Priorities Fund programme aims to create an integrated network of sensors, methodologies and tools for assessing, analysing, monitoring and forecasting the state of the natural environment- -n order to support responses to acute events and inform understanding of long-term environmental change.
The programme is led by NERC, with EPSRC and Defra as programme partners.
As part of the Programme, NERC is inviting proposals for demonstrator projects costing up to £960,000 at 80% full economic cost, with a maximum duration of 24 months.
The calls cover environmental research in the areas of statistics, machine learning, computer science and sensors.
