The annual general meeting (AGM) of the
Official Statistics Section will take place virtually on Microsoft Teams on Thursday 17 December 2020 at 2.15pm. The AGM will be followed by a talk on
“Using Pay As You Earn Real Time Information to create timely labour market indicators” starting at 2:30pm. To attend the AGM, please

Vacant officer roles will be filled at the AGM
There are two vacancies on the 2021 committee, which anyone interested in promoting discussions and information sharing related to official statistics can apply by Thursday 10 December 2020. Please contact
Amaka Nwagbara with a paragraph (up to 250 words) summarising your background, why you would like to join and what you will contribute to the committee. Please note that to take up a position you will need to be a fellow of the RSS.
Unless alternative nominations are received by
Amaka Nwagbara before 10 December 2020, these persons will be declared elected at the annual general meeting.
