The Society is looking for volunteers to fill vacancies on local group committees.
Local groups organise 3-4 events every year to share statistical expertise with RSS members, those with an interest in statistics and data, local organisations and industries. They organise a programme of events and talks in the local regions to encourage networking, promote areas of statistical interest and communicate the value of statistics to school pupils and students. The following groups are seeking RSS fellows for committee vacancies:
Avon - 4 vacancies
East Kent - 6 vacancies
East Midlands - 3 vacancies
Edinburgh - 2 vacancies
Lancshire and East Cumbria - 3 vacancies
Leeds and Bradford - 3 vacancies
Manchester - 4 vacancies
Mersyside - 5 vacancies
North East - 2 vacancies
Northern Ireland - 4 vacancies
Reading - 1 vacancy
Sheffield - 3 vacancies
South Wales - 3 vacancies
West Midlands - 5 vacancies
