The International Data Science in Schools Project (IDSSP) is inviting public comment on its draft frameworks. You can download the draft material and provide your feedback to the IDSSP consultation (by 31 May 2019).
The IDSSP is an international collaborative project to provide the content for a pre-calculus course in Data Science for the last two years in school. Phase one is to develop the curriculum frameworks for the student and teacher programmes. Phase two is to develop resources to support courses in a variety of formats, suitable for different modes of delivery.
Sir David Spiegelhalter, former RSS president, is on the IDSSP advisory group while its curriculum team includes Neil Sheldon, a member of the RSS Education Policy Advisory Group.
