The Society is seeking fellows to fill vacancies on section committees.
Sections promote particular branches and applications of statistics. They are run by a committee who oversee the planning of a programme of events and activities. The committee works to deliver sessions at RSS conference, input into policy and organise public events and talks.
The section vacancies are as follows:
Business and Industrial - 1 vacancy
Emerging Applications - 2 vacancies
History of Statistics - 3 vacancies
International Development - 1 vacancy
Official Statistics - 1 vacancy
Quality Improvement - 1 vacancy
Section committees formally meet at least three times per year - including virtual meetings - and there will be some correspondence by email.
Candidates should be willing to organise events that promote new developments and research.
