Profile

I am an applied statistician with expertise in the design, analysis and interpretation of quantitative data across clinical, experimental and observational settings. My academic and consulting work spans multiple domains, with a focus on rigorous statistical methodology, reproducible analysis and clear communication of statistical findings. I support research teams in clinical trials, experimental design and reliability studies and regularly contribute to peer-reviewed publications and statistical training. I favour approaches that balance statistical robustness with practical relevance.

Background

I originally studied biomechanics, anatomy and physiology, before undertaking additional training in medical statistics, culminating in Chartered Statistician status from the Royal Statistical Society. I currently work at Anglia Ruskin University, with roles in both teaching and research. I am also a member of the Faculty Research Ethics Committee and serve as the undergraduate medicine research lead. My work includes interdisciplinary collaboration across health sciences and education, with a focus on applying statistical reasoning to real-world problems in clinical and experimental settings.
