The Sullivan Review is an independent, government commissioned report into the collection of accurate data and statistics on sex and gender identity which was published in March 2025. The review concluded that public bodies should collect data on sex by default, and that data on gender identity should be collected where appropriate as an additional, distinct variable. This presentation will explain the findings of the review and its implications for policy.
