We are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for our 2026 honours and prizes, celebrating outstanding contributions to the field of statistics and data science.
Members and the wider community are invited to submit nominations across a range of prestigious awards, including:

- Barnett Award
- David Cox Research Prize
- Howard Medal
- Wood Medal
- Chambers Medal
- Honorary Fellowship
- Mardia Prize
These honours recognise individuals and teams who have made significant impacts in research, practice, communication and leadership within the statistical community. They cover a wide range of research areas, career stages and disciplines, so we encourage members to read the criteria and consider all colleagues and peers that are eligible for nomination.
The deadline for submitting nominations is
Monday 31 October 2025. All nominations will be reviewed by the RSS Honours Committee, which is chaired by the president with representation from across the Society.
