Call opens for talks and posters for RSS 2025 Conference

The organisers of next September’s Royal Statistical Society 2025 International Conference have issued the call for submissions for individual talks and posters. The conference will take place in Edinburgh from 1-4 September.

Submissions are open for 20-minute contributed talks, 5-minute rapid-fire talks and for poster presentations. Abstracts can be submitted on any topic related to statistics, data science and the use of data. The organisers are keen not only to have presentations on novel methodology and advances in analytical techniques, but also on the interesting and impactful stories which can be told via the use of statistics and data science.

Head of Conferences & Events for the Society, Paul Gentry said, “Following a record number of submissions for invited topic sessions and workshops, we are looking forward to receiving a great selection of abstracts for contributed talks and posters to ensure a programme that reflects the full diversity of our subject areas.”

The deadline for contributed submissions is 4 April with later deadlines for rapid-fire talks and poster presentations.

Full details about the submissions process can be found on the conference website.
