The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the
Official Statistics Section will take place on
Monday 20 November 2023 at
12.30pm virtually on
MS Teams with some attended in person at RSS, Errol Street, London
. The AGM will be followed by a hybrid workshop on
“Official Statistics and Health: Developing coherent and accessible health statistics: a UK perspective” starting at 1pm.

In accordance with the regulations of Sections, the following are recommended by the Section committee as members of the committee for the 2023 session:

There are TWO vacancies to be on the committee for 2024, which anyone interested in promoting discussions and information sharing related to official statistics can
apply for by Friday 10 November 2023, with a paragraph (up to 250 words) summarising your background, why you would like to join and what you will contribute to the committee. Please note that to take up a position you will need to be a fellow of the RSS.
Unless alternative nominations are received by Amirah Chaudry before 10 November 2023, these persons will be declared elected at the annual general meeting.
