The annual general meeting (AGM) of the
Applied Probability Section will be held on Wednesday 19 October 2022 at 1.30pm before a section meeting on
Machine Learning and Optimal Control. If you would like to attend the AGM, please register for the event to receive joining instructions.
In accordance with the regulations of Sections, the following are recommended by the Section committee as members of the committee for the 2023 session:

There are three vacancies on the section committee, which anyone interested in joining the section committee can express interest by
Wednesday 5 October 2022. To express interest, please contact
appliedprobability@rss.org.uk with a paragraph (up to 250 words) summarising your background, why you would like to join and what you will contribute to the committee. Please note that to take up a position you will need to be a fellow of the RSS.
Unless alternative nominations are received before 5 October 2022, these persons will be declared elected at the annual general meeting.
