The Society has announced that the 2024 edition of its annual international conference will be held at the Brighton Metropole from 2-5 September 2024.
It will be the first time since 2010 that the conference has visited Brighton, a seaside resort on the south coast of England.
Paul Gentry, the Society’s Head of Conferences & Events, said “We are excited to be returning to Brighton after such a long gap. We are looking forward to holding events at some of Brighton’s iconic venues including the pier.”
Darren Johnson, Brighton Convention Bureau Manager, said “VisitBrighton are thrilled to have been chosen as the host destination for the Royal Statistical Society Conference 2024. All of us here in the City are excited to be able to welcome back the Society and all delegates that plan to attend for that year.
“Brighton has welcomed a great range of improvements since your last visit and we are certain that when you come in 2024, you will all enjoy and appreciate the fantastic conference facilities, the comfort and range of the hotels we have on offer as well as the quantity and variety of the city’s retail sector, restaurants, bars and nightlife.”
Detailed planning for the conference will start next summer and more details will be available from the Society’s website in due course.
