There are many ways for our members to connect with each other. We run regular events and our members can get involved in sections and local groups to meet fellow statisticians, data scientists and other stats fanatics face-to-face. We appreciate, however, that not everyone has time to attend events or meetings on a regular basis so there are others way for you to connect with fellow members.
Fellows Directory
All fellows have access to our online fellows’ directory in MyRSS, which allows you to search for other fellows by name, location and/or interests. This is an opt-in list and you can update your profile whenever you wish through the ‘listings’ tab in MyRSS. You have the option to show as little or as much information about yourself as you like and members can contact you using the details you allow us to show. This is a great way to connect with fellows in your local area or who share your areas of interest.
Consultants Directory
The Consultants Directory is list of our Chartered Statisticians who are professionally active and available to undertake consultancy work. It’s publicly available on our website and allows users to search and contact our professionally qualified members for help with statistical work. This is another opt-in list and CStats are invited to keep their details up to date, including their areas of specialism, if they’re happy to be contacted about consultancy opportunities.
