The AGM will be followed by a talk by Professor Chris Brignell (University of Nottingham)

In the first quarter of this century, the discipline of statistics has undergone enormous change.  For example, computers and computational methods become widely available.  At the same time funding for Higher Education (in England) shifted subtly changing the function of universities.  In response the curriculum, teaching and assessment have all adapted and statistics is now taught in a wide variety of contexts, including new disciplines like data science and new formats like degree apprenticeships.  So where are we now, and where would we like to get to?  What further changes will be forced upon us and what agency do we have?  Come along and share your vision.
