The 2025 RSS Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 4 September as part of the Society’s annual conference.
The AGM is a crucial session in the Society’s calendar year, and an important reflection of the last year. It is a key opportunity for members to review RSS activities, finances, and governance arrangements.
RSS President, Professor Sir John Aston, will chair this meeting, offering his insight and leading in making pivotal decisions for the year ahead. During the meeting, Fellows will be asked to either approve or amend:
- The 2024 annual report and financial statements
- The re-appointment of the Society’s auditors, Sayer Vincent
- The minutes of the 2024 AGM
This year’s AGM will also give attendees the opportunity to learn more about the upcoming review of RSS governance and how members can support the future of the Society by leaving a gift in their Will.
Non-members are very welcome to attend the event; however, note that only RSS Fellows will be eligible to vote.
This year, lunch will be served at the AGM – it will be available, and arrivals welcomed, from 12:50, with the meeting itself starting at 13:00.
