Help us shape the future of member support at the RSS by volunteering to test Knowbot.
The RSS is piloting Knowbot, a new AI-powered assistant designed to make it easier for members to find key information on our website, discover opportunities to get involved, and stay up to date with society activities. Whether you're looking for information on becoming a member, guidance on joining a section or local group, or just want quick answers to common questions, this tool aims to make your experience smoother and more intuitive.
But before we launch it, we need your help.
We’re looking for volunteers to test the chatbot and share honest feedback. Your insights will help us refine the tool so that it truly meets the needs of our community. No technical expertise required; just a few minutes of your time and a willingness to explore!

What is Knowbot?
Knowbot is an AI tool that answers users’ questions about RSS and its knowledge base using natural, conversational language. Unlike conventional site search, it returns actual answers rather than just a list of pages. By eliminating the need to wade through multiple web pages, Knowbot helps to surface important information that might otherwise be missed.
Ensuring Accuracy and Transparency
Knowbot’s knowledge comes largely from the curated material on our website, to make sure that its answers are as accurate as possible. All AI systems currently make some mistakes and so, to aid in verification, Knowbot’s answers include direct links to the corresponding source pages on our site. Users can thereby check information independently and delve more deeply when they need to.
