The Alan Turing Institute is hosting a one-day conference will explore the lessons learned during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The event, 'AI and data science in the age of Covid-19' takes place on Tuesday 24 Nov 2020 and is for researchers and policymakers to share best practice and work together to understand how the UK AI and data science research community can be better positioned to respond to major crises in the future. Speakers include Sir David Spiegelhalter, Devi Sridhar, Neil Lawrence, Adam Kucharski and Maxine Mackintosh.
Following this event, a number of researchers and academics will come together for a series of closed workshops, with the aim of publishing a preliminary report outlining lessons learnt so far and recommendations for future research. More information on the event and the workshops is available on the Alan Turing Institute website. Please note that due to the format of the workshops, spaces will be limited.
