The UK Statistics Authority is looking to appoint independent expert and lay members to join its Research Accreditation Panel, which will oversee the statutory accreditation of researchers, projects, and processors under the Research strand of the Digital Economy Act 2017.
The Research Accreditation Panel, with its majority of independent members, will have a lead role in supervising and operationalising the Research strand of the Digital Economy Act. The Panel will independently advise the National Statistician (and Board of the UK Statistics Authority) given UKSA’s role as the statutory accreditor for the Research strand in the DEA.
The closing date for applications is 24 September 2018.
