The Open University has approved RSS exams for use as credit transfer in place of the modules Introducing statistics (M140) and Analysing data (M248) within its Professional Certificate in Practical Statistics, depending on which RSS Higher Certificate and Graduate Diploma modules have been passed.
This means that people who have passed RSS exams may be able to use them as exemptions towards gaining the Open University's Professional Certificate.
Each applicant wishing to use this credit transfer opportunity will be considered on a case by case basis, and will need to study Practical modern statistics (M249) and Linear statistical modelling (M346) with the OU to complete the Professional Certificate.
