The 2026 RSS Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 10 September as part of the Society’s annual conference.

The AGM is a crucial session in the Society’s calendar year, and an important reflection of the last year. It is a key opportunity for members to review RSS activities, finances, and governance arrangements.

RSS President, Professor Sir John Aston, will chair the meeting, offering his insight and leading in making pivotal decisions for the year ahead. During the meeting, Fellows will be asked to either approve or amend:

An update on the ongoing review of Society governance will also be provided ahead of an upcoming member vote on recommended changes.

Non-members are, as always, very welcome to attend the event; however, note that only RSS Fellows will be eligible to vote on matters raised.

Lunch will be served at the AGM – it will be available, and arrivals welcomed, from 12:50, with the meeting itself starting at 13:00.
