Our policy and research
Our work in policy and research spans across a wide range of issues relating to the use of statistics and data, from its use in policymaking, to data career pathways and the integrity of statistical methods used in public life.
Through in-depth analysis, policy briefings, and collaborative research, we aim to improve the way data is collected, communicated, and used.
We occasionally commission experts to investigate key policy, statistical and data issues that affect the wider world.
Our campaigns and policy work is led by our members: we have a number of expert groups who help us to take forward work in key areas.
