The AGM will follow with event presented by Scott Heald.

Scott Heald will give share personal reflections on the work of the organisation during the COVID pandemic, the importance data and analytics played during that period, and the use of technology which transformed the way we work.   Scott will no doubt digress onto other topics – those who know him will know he can’t resist a reference to buses, music, his garden or Doctor Who – and he loves Christmas - but don’t let that put you off!

Scott Heald is Director of Digital & Data Innovation and Head of Profession for Statistics in Scotland.  He’ll give some insights from his career as a statistician and talk about his current work in Public Health Scotland and the role of data analysts/statisticians within that.
