Entries are now open for the 2024 Award for Statistical Excellence in the Pharmaceutical Industry, presented jointly by the RSS and Statisticians in the Pharmaceutical Industry (PSI).
The award celebrates pieces of work that have effectively met the needs of researchers and investigators either through the application of a statistical practice to a new area or a development in the design of investigations.
Last year’s winner was Dr Satrajit Roychoudhury of Pfizer for his significant impact in developing, implementing and disseminating efficient statistical methodology, in particular in the Bayesian design for covid vaccine trials.
The 2024 award will be presented at PSI’s annual conference, which will take place in Amsterdam, 16–19 June.
The deadline for entries is Tuesday 2 April 2024.
