Announcing the winners of the Best Poster prize at RSS 2023 Conference

At the recent RSS International Conference in Harrogate, a judging panel comprising members of the RSS Conference Board selected the best of the posters presented during the event.

Third place, receiving £100 of book vouchers from CRC Press, was awarded to Chang Liu (Maynooth University) for ‘Spatial statistical analysis for large biological 3D datasets’.

In second place, receiving £200 of book vouchers from CRC Press, was Daniel Perez Vicencio (University of Edinburgh) for ‘Utility of Cardiovascular Risk Scores in Identifying Coronary Artery Disease in Observation-Zone-Patients with Chest Pain’.

The winner of the poster competition, receiving £300 of Amazon vouchers kindly sponsored by the UK Data Service, was Lorna Wheaton (University of Leicester) for ‘Bayesian meta-analysis for evaluating treatment effectiveness in biomarker subgroups using trials of mixed patient populations’.
