Applying for RSS accreditation 

We aim to make the process proportionate, collaborative and efficient, building on documentation you already produce for quality assurance.  

What you will need 

Typical submissions include: 

  • Programme or module specifications 
  • Mapping to RSS learning outcomes 
  • Assessment examples 
  • Student progression and completion data 
  • QA processes and review mechanisms 
  • Evidence of professional engagement 
Support available 

The RSS Professional Affairs team can: 

  • Advise on eligibility and scope 
  • Support joint or interdisciplinary applications 
  • Discuss phased or multi-programme accreditation 
  • Provide informal feedback before submission  

There is no cost or obligation for initial discussions. 

Engagement with the RSS 

We encourage accredited partners to: 

  • Promote free student membership of the RSS 
  • Engage with RSS professional networks 
  • Support progression to GradStat and CStat, Data Analyst
