The Royal Statistical Society (RSS) is pleased to invite new fellows to our online welcome event The New Fellows Event aims to welcome new fellows who joined the Society in the past three years as a fellow, GradStat or CStat and share how they can make the most out of their membership. There will be a series of talks from RSS members and staff sharing their experience and showcasing activities available for our members.
Founded in 1834, the RSS is one of the world’s leading organisations advocating for the importance of statistics and data. We are a global community with more than 10,000 members in the UK and overseas.
This event is our opportunity to welcome new fellows to the Society, highlight how to make the most of your membership and get involved with our work. With talks from our President, members who are participating in many of our varied activities, Vice President and RSS staff, this is the perfect opportunity to see the opportunities available to you.
The New Fellows Event is open to fellows who have joined the Society in the past three years as a fellow, GradStat or CStat. Fellows who have been with the RSS for more than three years are also welcome, as it is a chance to familiarise yourself with the Society and its work.
This event will be hosted live on Microsoft Teams with keynote talks from the RSS president and Chief Executive.
