Will AI and automation take our jobs?  Is the data science trend over? What do the capabilities of large language models mean for careers in data science and AI? Have our views changed over recent weeks as ChatGPT and Bard have been unleashed?

These questions and more will be discussed by our excellent panellists at our joint South Wales Group and Data Science and AI Section event.

We will be joined by:
Chair: Dr Nicola Brassington, Deputy Director of Digital Analytics and Transformation, Dept for Health and Social Care and NHSE;
Professor Wendy Dearing, Dean, Institute of Management and Health, University of Wales Trinity St Davids;
Osama Rahman, Director of the Data Science Campus, Office for National Statistics.
