The RSS is hosting a panel discussion on data skills. The government is currently developing a national data strategy and a key part of this strategy relates to skills: looking at what the government can do to improve data skills in the workforce and the population more generally.

A panel of speakers will set out their thoughts on how data skills can be improved. Speakers include:
  • Ben Goldacre, Director of DataLab at Oxford University and science writer
  • Sharon Witherspoon, RSS VP for education and statistical literacy
  • Emma McCoy, Imperial College London
