The organisers of this September’s
RSS International Conference have announced the final two keynote speakers to join the programme in Bournemouth.
On Tuesday 8 September, Dame Sheila Bird will reflect on a remarkable career in statistics and public health with her keynote talk 'Modus operandi: during five decades of epidemics & as biostatistician behind bars'.
The programme on Wednesday 9 September will start with Professor Simon French presenting his discussion paper 'Bayesian Statistics in Scientific Induction: A Decision Analysis Perspective'.
Sheila and Simon join the previously announced keynote speakers: Leonhard Held, Finn Lindgren, Bhramar Mukherjee, Gordana Radojevic and Ron Wasserstein.
The conference runs from 7-10 September at the Bournemouth International Centre on England’s south coast. Full details are available on the
