Two RSS Statistical Ambassadors, Professor Jennifer Visser-Rogers and Dr Johanna Hutchinson, have been announced as part of this year’s Women in Data® Twenty in Data and Tech List, announced at the Women in Data® flagship event on the eve of International Women’s Day.
The annual list was created to showcase women in data roles, for their success, innovation, leadership and courage.
Jennifer, who is currently the vice-president for statistical research and consultancy at the pharmaceutical company PHASTAR was chosen for her work as an ambassador for STEM and data and for her regular work with the media on improving public understanding of statistics.
Johanna, chief data officer at BAE systems, was chosen for her work across a huge breadth of sectors, having previously worked in the civil service for over ten years, most recently playing a key role in the government’s Covid response.
