RSS members invited to contribute to survey on general election asks

Climate change, artificial intelligence, healthcare and education: all of these are intricately linked to statistics and data while being central for politicians and government policy. But in which areas are the Society’s resources best invested, and what specific policy asks are the most important to members?

With a general election looking likely for 2024, the RSS has asked that members complete a short survey on policy priorities. Detailing some suggestions within our key policy areas, the survey asks respondents to rank potential election asks from ‘very important’ to ‘not important at all’.

The RSS places vital significance on considering members’ opinions when it comes to prioritising which policy areas are taken forward in our election strategy, and it is hoped that all interested parties will respond. The survey will only take a few minutes and will inform how the Society approaches advocating for the best uses of statistics and data in the UK.

Complete the survey here by noon on 19 January 2024.
