Volunteer lecturers required for AIMS Cameroon

We are seeking lecturers in statistics who would like to volunteer to teach a course for a 3-week period at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) centre in Cameroon for the 2021-2022 academic year.

To express interest, please fill in the form and send your CV to Emanuele Giorgi at e.giorgi@lancaster.ac.uk for full consideration.

The AIMS programme is a 12-month course, intended to prepare African graduates with mathematically-based degrees for postgraduate study and employment. The Royal Statistical Society (RSS) is working in partnership with AIMS to help and encourage RSS fellows to volunteer at AIMS centres.

If travelling to Cameroon is permitted, teaching will be in person and the RSS will cover your travel expenses. Otherwise, the course will be taught online.

For any queries, feel free to email e.giorgi@lancaster.ac.uk

The deadline for expressions of interest is Thursday 15 July 2021.
