Profile

I am senior government statistician for the Ministry of Defence. I have 15 years of working with data, MI systems, MI and statistical production, statistical analysis. I am currently working on developing the MOD's strategy for data and MI, and driving its implementation in order the Department has trusted MI leading to improved decision making across Defence.

Background

I have been a government statistician for 15 years. I have managed a number of branches within Defence Statistics with responsibility for manpower statistics and forecasting, economic statistics, defence inflation, advising on currency/inflation in contracts, survey and statistical methodology. More recently, I have managed the Department's MI Centre of Excellence delivering finance and personnel MI. I am currently responsible for the Department's overall MI strategy and implementation.
