The RSS Manchester local group is excited to welcome Marco Puts, a statistical methodologist at Statistics Netherlands, to discuss how machine learning can be used in Official Statisitcs. Marco is an experienced and engaging speaker who is able to explain complex concepts in an accessible way.

Marco Puts is a statistical methodologist at Statistics Netherlands where he works on big data and data science. He studied Cognitive Science which is a combination of cognitive psychology and artificial intelligence and has a PhD in Psychophysics.
